Be Safe and Legally Prepared When Handling a Firearm with training from an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor and ASP Basic and Enhanced CHCL Instructor reg. #21-1499

Handling firearms comes with a great deal of responsibility.  You and those around you deserve to be safe and free from accidental discharges and malfunctions which could result in injury or death.  Finding the time to educate and train yourself both tactically and legally could make all the difference.

If you are looking for a Basic or Enhanced Concealed Handgun Carry License, (CHCL) look no further! One day training with me and you will have all you need to apply for your license. I'm even Certified with Arkansas State Police to do your fingerprints for your appication. I provide classes for both small groups and private, one on one instruction. I am also available to travel and  arrange instruction in 36 USCCA, NRA reciprocal states.  Beginners are welcome as well as those with experience who would just like some pointers as to how to shoot with more accuracy or renew their license.  Email or give me a call and we can discuss how to best accommodate your schedule and the training that best fits you. Safe shooting is always the number one objective!

American Heart Association BLS, Heartsaver CPR, AED and First Aid Instructor #03221051443 USCCA Emergency First Aid Fundamentals, CPR, AED Certified, and Basic Trauma Response Instructor

Paula is available to schedule training, including renewals, for AHA eCard Certification. She offers BLS Training for Healthcare Providers, including EMS with Continuing Education Units.

The Heartsaver Total CPR, AED, First Aid course she offers qualifies for the certification of your Office Staff, Industry Employees, Family & Friends, Babysitter, Educators, etc. within the scope of OSHA, and several other reporting agencies if required. (Includes child and infant.)

CPR, AED training only is available. (Child and Infant Certification may be included in the same training if requested.)

All classes are certified with American Heart Association and you may choose to receive an eCard to carry in your wallet. Prices range from $75 to $100.

About the Instructor

Paula began her firearms experience at 13 years old. She and her brother received their first Hunting License through the "Junior Hunter's Safety Course." Through the years she enjoyed shooting her shotguns, rifles, and handguns. Paula brings with her 35 years of educational experience as a school teacher and principal, including teaching adult ed. and 5 years as a university instructor.

In 2012 she decided to pursue more advanced training with firearms.  From 2012 to 2016 she received certificates in Women's Tactical Handgun, Advanced California CCW, Firearms Safety and Familiarity, Home Protection and Knife Fighting from the Weapons Training School in California.  She then trained with Jan Morgan at the Gun Cave in Hot Springs, Arkansas and received the honor of becoming a USCCA Certified Instructor.  After training with Insight Firearms Training in Arkansas she is also an NRA certified Range Safety Officer. Paula also successfully attended U.S. Combatives Close Quarter Counter Offensive Concepts and Firearm Training Camp at the Hard Target Training Facility in Lead Hill, Arkansas where she has been invited to instruct Tactical Handgun and Situational Awareness at the Hot Shotz Women's Shooting League Retreat. Paula also achieved the honor of becoming an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor at Get Trained Be Ready with Rob Jennings.

Paula is currently also an American Heart Association BLS and Heartsaver Instructor (CPR, AED & First Aid.) in addition to certification as a USCCA Emergency First Aid Fundamentals, CPR AED Instructor. She received Basic Trauma Response training with Phil Robinson and John Miller at GTBR.

She is an Arkansas State Police Basic and Enhanced Concealed Handgun Carry License Instructor, reg. #21-1499. Paula is a Certified Fingerprint Tech. She is also a USCCA Instructor Training Counselor providing training for those who wish to become instructors themselves.

Paula has helped several men and women, including beginners who have never handled a gun, achieve their qualifying target successfully to complete their concealed carry requirements and become safe, responsible gun owners.
